CanadaFunWorld is built on the principle that social gaming should be fun for everyone. These Community Guidelines exist to define the standards of behaviour expected from all players, moderators, and staff who interact on the platform. By registering an account and participating in the CanadaFunWorld community, you agree to abide by these guidelines in full.
These guidelines work in conjunction with our Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence. Last updated: January 1, 2026.
1. Core Principles
Everything in these guidelines flows from three foundational principles that we ask every CanadaFunWorld community member to hold in mind during every interaction:
2. Fair Play Standards
CanadaFunWorld is committed to a level playing field for all players. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Cheating and Exploitation
Using third-party software, scripts, bots, or any automated tools to play games or interact with the platform is strictly forbidden. Any attempt to exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage must be reported rather than used. Exploiting any system bug, whether or not you report it, for personal gain constitutes cheating under these guidelines.
Multiple Accounts
Each player is entitled to one account only. Creating additional accounts to receive multiple welcome bonuses, to circumvent account restrictions, to manipulate leaderboard standings, or for any other purpose is a violation of both these guidelines and the Terms of Service. All accounts associated with a player who creates multiples may be suspended.
Collusion
Coordinating with other players outside the normal mechanics of a game in order to gain an unfair advantage on leaderboards, in events, or in any other competitive feature of the platform is considered collusion and is prohibited.
Account Sharing
Your account is personal to you and should not be shared with another person. Using another player's account, or allowing someone else to use yours, violates our Terms of Service and may result in suspension of the account.
3. Respectful Conduct
All community interactions on CanadaFunWorld — including forum posts, profile bios, display names, and any other player-generated content — must meet these standards of respectful conduct.
Harassment and Bullying
Targeting another player with repeated unwanted messages, insults, threats, or negative attention constitutes harassment and is not tolerated. This includes behaviour designed to intimidate, demean, or make another person feel unwelcome. A single instance of serious harassment may result in immediate account suspension.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that attacks, demeans, or dehumanizes individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national or provincial origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action by the moderation team.
Personal Attacks
Criticize ideas, not people. Disagreement and debate are welcome in our community forums, but personal attacks, name-calling, and insults directed at specific players are not. Discuss the topic, not the person.
Threatening Language
Any content that could reasonably be interpreted as a threat — to a player's safety, property, reputation, or wellbeing — will be removed immediately and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
4. Prohibited Content
Illegal Content
Content that is illegal under Canadian federal or provincial law — including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content that glorifies violence, content that promotes criminal activity, or content that violates the intellectual property rights of others — is absolutely forbidden and will be reported to law enforcement.
Adult or Sexually Explicit Content
CanadaFunWorld, while an 18+ platform, is not an adult content platform. Sexually explicit, graphic, or pornographic content of any kind is prohibited in all community spaces including profiles, forum posts, and any other user-generated content area.
Spam and Unsolicited Promotion
Posting repetitive, unsolicited, or commercially motivated content in community spaces is spam and is not permitted. This includes promoting external websites, services, products, or platforms — especially any real-money gaming or gambling services. CanadaFunWorld is a free, entertainment-only platform and we protect our community from commercial exploitation.
Misinformation
Deliberately spreading false information about CanadaFunWorld, its team, its platform features, or other players — including false claims about the possibility of winning real money — is prohibited. This is particularly important given our responsibility to ensure all players understand the purely entertainment nature of our platform.
Personal Information
Posting, sharing, or soliciting the personal information of any user — including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any other identifying information — is strictly prohibited. This practice (sometimes called "doxxing") poses a serious safety risk and will be treated as a serious violation.
5. Display Names and Avatars
Your display name and avatar are your public identity on CanadaFunWorld and must meet our content standards.
- Display names must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language
- Display names must not impersonate CanadaFunWorld staff, moderation team members, or other players
- Display names must not include URLs, email addresses, or external promotional content
- Avatars must not contain explicit, adult, or offensive imagery
- Avatars must not use the likeness of another identifiable real person without clear indication of parody
Display names and avatars that violate these standards will be removed by the moderation team. Players will be asked to choose appropriate replacements. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
6. Enforcement
CanadaFunWorld's moderation team monitors community spaces and reviews reports from players. We follow a graduated enforcement approach for most violations, though serious violations may result in immediate suspension.
Standard Enforcement Process
- Informal Warning: A private note from a moderator drawing attention to a violation and asking the player to review the guidelines.
- Formal Warning: An official written warning placed on the account. Three formal warnings may result in a temporary restriction.
- Temporary Restriction: A timed suspension of community posting privileges (typically 24 to 72 hours for a first restriction).
- Extended Restriction: A longer suspension of community access, typically applied after a temporary restriction has not had the desired effect.
- Permanent Ban: Reserved for repeated serious violations, and for any violation involving illegal content, harassment, threats, or exploitation. Permanent bans are reviewed by senior staff before being applied.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that you believe violates these guidelines, please use the "Report" function on any forum post or player profile. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within one Canadian business day. We take all reports seriously and maintain reporter confidentiality.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation action taken against your account was applied in error, you may submit an appeal through the community forum's Help & Support section within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a senior staff member who was not involved in the original decision. We will acknowledge your appeal within 3 business days and provide a final decision within 10 business days.
